On October 13th and 14th,  ADMANTEX2i consortium met at Ontinyent (Valencia) to plan next trade mission as one of the internationalization activities to support the global competitiveness of its members.

ADMANTEX2i is an internationalization project aimed at leading international cluster cooperation in advanced manufacturing and advanced textile materials as an enabler for globally competitive sustainable products functional in a broad range of high-end applications.

During the meeting, the consortium discussed and started defining the agenda of activities for the trade mission to USA. It will be from February 6th to 10th, 2023 in San Francisco and California. The mission will be exploratory in nature, in order to discover this important global market and its diverse opportunities. The delegation will visit some of California’s world-renowned companies and innovative SMEs in the fields of advanced manufacturing and textiles to look at best practices in terms of digitalization and sustainability. Industrial visits will be linked to the core sectors defined in the ADMANTEX2i Joint Internationalization Strategy: the Advanced manufacturing; Advanced textiles; Aerospace and Automotive sectors.

In addition to the programme of industrial visits, B2B matchmaking activities will be carried out with local enterprises in order to boost opportunities for business and innovation partnerships.

All participating SMEs will get financial support through a call for EOI that will be opened in November.

The second mission will focus on the Japanese market, centered on high performance home textiles next to a major trade fair and will be organized during June 2023.

Lastly, the third mission will be in November 2023 to Canada, next to the trade fair on Advanced Design & Manufacturing Expo in Montreal.
